The Website Design Process

The aim of this website development process is to ensure that the client is well aware of what is to happen during the website design project. We also hope that it helps you to prepare and gather all the information that will be needed in advance to ensure that this project runs smoothly and on schedule.

Phase 1 : Contract Singing

The project will start when we receive a signed contract from you together with any supporting documentation. At this stage, we will require at least 50% of the invoiced amount to continue.

Phase 2 : Understanding your business

We will take this time to get to know and understand your brand. We will require you to send us any information and/or documentation that will help us to achieve this goal. This includes but is not limited to your company logo, business profile, letterheads, brochures and etc. The aim here is to fully understand your business as well as your brand.

Phase 3 : Keyword Research and Analysis

Keywords are phrases that are used by visitors on search engines such as Google when looking for information or service providers. It is important to research and make optimum use of these keywords throughout this development process to increase your exposure on major search engines. At this stage we will work together with you to research and develop a plan on how to make full use of those keywords for your website.

Phase 4 : Template Design

We will create at least 2 website templates based on the information you have supplied us to give you a visual look of the website. These templates will include a head banner (if required for the website), Navigation bar or buttons and the overall page layout.

We will take your feedback from here and incorporate into the website to ensure the output is as per your specification. You will be required to sign off a template approval form to continue.

Phase 5 : Content Submission and Website Design

We will develop a sitemap of your website outlining the individual pages and the type of content to be included here. Your content will then be incorporated into the website. Please ensure that the content that you supply to us is already proof-read, spell-checked, final and not your draft content. This includes formatted text, images and or graphics. The website will undergo rigorous testing for functionality before being submitted to you for your final approval.

Phase 6 : Going Live

After approval of the design and functionality, the website is uploaded onto your live domain. Your email accounts are created here and you will be given access to send/receive mail via webmail. Your website is submitted on major search engines and directories.

N.B The full invoiced amount needs to be settled before the site goes live.

Project is complete.
